Chromosome staining/banding/FISH
An Ag-NOR site identified on long arms of chromosome 11, near centromere, which is mithramycin-positive. It also highlighted centromeric/ pericentromeric sites of chromosome pairs 4, 6, 15, and 19. 45S rDNA was mapped on chromosome pair 11, as in Ag-NOR, and in some other chromosome pairs, but not on the centromeric/ pericentromeric regions of chromosomes 4, 6, 15, and 19. C-bands were located in centromeric/ pericentromeric region of all the chromosome pairs.
